About the
project

The Brazoria West project is our largest solar PV project to date, with an operating capacity of 260 MW. It provides power to ~37,000 homes in the Houston area, contributing to Texas’ renewable energy portfolio and goals. Power generated from the project is sold to the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, contributing over 490 GWh per year to the greater Houston area, under two PPA agreements. In addition, the project equipment supplier is tier 1, verified by the relevant authorities and institutions.

A note by the project manager

“The project was acquired at the ‘Notice to Proceed’ stage and was fully constructed under the management of the Shikun & Binui US Energy team. Capital structure included financing at the project level and tax equity partnership, both from leading financial intuitions.”
