Energy supply

Shikun & Binui Energy supplies renewable energy to a diverse range of customers, including utilities, as well as commercial and industrial clients. The renewable energy is primarily generated by utility-scale PV + Storage facilities, owned and operated by Shikun & Binui Energy.
Renewable energy supplied by Shikun & Binui Energy provides power to a range of facilities, from data center farms to shopping malls and industrial sites, helping organizations reduce their carbon footprint and meet their sustainability goals and targets. Among our customers are Melisron, a commercial real estate company and owner of shopping malls and office properties; Tel Aviv University, a leading university in Israel; Caesarstone, a manufacturer of premium quality countertops; and MedOne, a leading data center company in Israel.
As a marketer of natural gas, Shikun & Binui Energy supplies natural gas to a wide range of customers. These include large-scale power plants and operators of small-scale generators that provide power onsite.
Distributed energy or on-site generation systems are decentralized, modular, and flexible solutions that generate power near the site of consumption. Shikun & Binui Energy’s distributed power and microgrid solutions provide our customers with a range of advantages, including increased energy security, less power loss over transmission lines.
We offer a range of distributed power and microgrid solutions, including natural gas generators, PV + Storage systems, and a combination of these technologies. Surplus electricity generated by these systems are often sold to the grid.
Shikun & Binui Energy is currently developing the first microgrid system at Tel Aviv University, which will provide power to the campus through renewable and conventional energy sources. The system is designed to optimize consumption, generating solar power during the day, with storage capabilities to use the electricity at night, with the capability to draw power from the grid when needed. The Tel Aviv University microgrid will incorporate dual use PV + Storage, with PV installations on parking lots and rooftops, for maximized use of the campus space.
